- Abstract
- This master thesis analyses the production of electricity from the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs and façades of academic buildings at UCLouvain. Data from the PICC and LIDAR are analyzed to determine the surfaces that could be used for installing panels. The production of these panels is then calculated based on hypotheses. The positive consequences of such an installation are discussed. A comparison is made between electricity production for the university and households in Louvain-La-Neuve. Conclusions are drawn as to the value of these installations and the needs they could cover.
