Abstract
Tensegrity structures are composed of compression bars connected to each other by means of cables in traction. The number of civil structures actually built in tensegrity remains very limited to date because they deform significantly when loaded. This behavior is called geometric nonlinearity. This thesis studies the influence of this behavior on the dynamics of tensegrity structures. A this purpose, experimental results obtained on a large instrumented SIMPLEX are compared to numerical results compared to numerical results obtained with a parametric software developed for this purpose.
