Abstract
Academic thesis multidisciplinary as part of the Creation in Small and Medium-sized Entreprises (CPME). Project consisting by the study of commercialization of an innovative solution to detect cancerous cells inside samples destined to a cell therapy's use. Our tests are currently being developed inside the laboratory of Celyad by the biologist of our group. Cell Therapy consist of removing stem cells by the sick patient, in order to make them specialized of the organ. Once programmed, these cells are being injected in the patient, and regenerate the hurt tissue. The problem is that during this culture's process, appearance of cancerous cells may occurs. That's why we must detect their presence or not. The only recognized method is actually the karyotype, which is long, costly and doesn't get the agreement of all the scientific community. Therefore, to find a reliable alternative seems to be compulsory to insure patient's security. Scancell provides three new tests to detect the flawed samples.
