Abstract
This research concerns the procedure of receipt, storage and removal of goods in the radiopharmacy department of UZ Leuven. Through a thorough analysis of the current procedure, which consists mainly of manually registering the products and checking the inventories, the main issues have been identified and solutions were found thanks to a DMAIC approach. The solution comprises of a VBA tool as well as some general advisory comments for the future in hospital inventory management.
