- Abstract
- In this work, I will try to explain why we should find an interest in the Curry’s Paradox, especially regarding the authority of the Inclosure Schema based on the Principle of Uniform Solution. In this introduction, I will state the main problem and my hypothesis, combined with the theories in which this problem is found. Secondly, I elaborate on the puzzling Curry’s paradox and the various solutions that were offered to solve it. Given the complexity regarding paradoxes in general, I will explain this concept from a more generalist point of view. Thirdly, I will present the Inclosure Schema and the way it works with self-referential paradoxes. Finally, I will explain the issues raised by Curry’s Paradox for the Inclosure Schema. By analysing different points of view, I provide more context as to whether the paradox fits this schema and explore the challenges and consequences of these findings.
