Abstract
This document focuses on the soft power strategy that Mexico implemented during its Presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) from January 2020 to December 2021. Through multilateralism, international cooperation and consensus building, Mexico promoted regional integration among member countries, regardless of political ideologies. The analysis uses Joseph Nye soft power concept as well as the contributions of different scholars regarding this concept.
