Abstract
enThe Southern Levant is a region that has experienced multiple foreign dominations. In this study, weights produced during the Seleucid and Roman occupations are brought together and studied as evidence of processes of standardization, Hellenization and Romanization. The results offer new insights into the relationship between the local populations and the central power.
