Abstract
The journey to intergalactic space, a true object of fascination for human beings over the centuries, is a subject as vast as it is mysterious to explore. Mankind has always sought to push his limits, whether in terms of knowledge, exploration or colonization of space ... but all thoses achievements are only a small part of what the vastness of the universe reserves. This thesis first traces the history of the Universe, from its birth with the Big Bang to the formation of the Solar System and the Earth, now inhabited by the human species, through a multitude of stages and transformations. It then continues on a real journey through the different celestial objects that it is possible to encounter in near space (planets, satellites, asteroid belts, transneptunian objects and comets), then ventures into deep space (binary or multiple systems, exoplanets, quasars, microquasars, black holes, rogue stars and parallel universes). Finally, he will investigate the different eras that the Universe is going through, or will go through, to end on the possible end of the Universe, how it will happen and the events that will lead to its death. The subtitling comments on the documentary "A journey to intergalactic space" are also an important part of this thesis, describing the translation processes and difficulties that can be found when translating a scientific document.
