Abstract
The mechanical properties of the tendons are not systematically measured yet. The demand of allograft is growing and the population is aging. Shortages can thus happen. A solution for this problem could be the reduction of the tendon allografts wastes by developing new safety treatments. But the mechanical properties need to be thoroughly assessed to validate the treatment. To provide relevant information on the behavior of the tendon in traction, a proper model of bit has to emerge to correctly assess the properties of the tendons. For this purpose, this thesis aims to provide a reliable model that can be fixed to a classical tensile test machine. Fabric samples and tendons will be tested to assess the efficiency of the device.
