- Abstract
- This thesis aims to show the problematic interaction between the delimitation and delineation process of the continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles. Therefore, this work will deal with one of the maritime spaces consecrated by the international law of the sea, namely the continental shelf´s institution. The focus will be on the interaction between the delimitation of the continental shelf beyond 200 nm carried out by the international tribunals and the delineation of the same carried out by the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf and the potential crossed impacts between both tasks in two hands.
