- Abstract
- Charline Lambert is a young Belgian and French speaking poetess. She mentions in her poetry themes that are related to the identity and its frontiers. Those appear to be problematic because of the lack of definition and the complexity of determining identities’ characteristics. We are studying this body, language and identity related topics in Charline Lambert’s own writing. This whole concept can be associated to the “identity’s enigma”, which gives way to a being and body made of flesh and words. As such, the identity can be found in an unspeakable in-between, which hides as much as it shows in the poetess’ writing. This is for instance noticeable through the body-oeuvre metaphor.
