Abstract
The hospital sector was one of the sectors most affected by the Covid crisis, due to the large flow of patients and the resulting restructuring of activities. In this sense, our study attempts to highlight the use of management tools in this sector in a health crisis context. We have thus explored which management tools were used before, during and after the crisis, how they are used, what needs they meet, how they were implemented, their usefulness and their limitations. Our literature review at the very beginning of our work served as a basis for the analysis. We met with a first non-profit organization, the Red Cross, and were able to glimpse their way of managing the different crises they face, as in the case of the floods in Liege. In our case study, we interviewed three hospital institutions, the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi, the Saint-Luc clinics, and the Jolimont Group.
