Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to find out to what extent the company BASF can develop its chemical recycling project, called "ChemCycling project", in the waste management sector in Belgium and the Netherlands. This study is based on an analysis of the waste management sector in Belgium and the Netherlands. In the different chapters, we will try to understand how this waste system works and who are the main actors. We will also describe the company BASF and try to find development opportunities for its chemical recycling project.
