- Abstract
- Apparatus and « répétitions » in Arne Lygre’s dramaturgy : Arne Lygre’s dramaturgy is going through three main themes: the doubt, the violence and the disappearance. His plays are echoing each others, offering to return on those themes in order to offer an alternative point of view or a counterpoint. From this emerge a repetition feeling. This is what we are analysing in this dramaturgical research. We try to understand those three main themes through the « répétition » in Lygre’s plays within the space notion in the apparatus. Our repetition’s analysis is taking place in three distincts area: stylistic with an analysis on the litterary device, Rehearsal (translated « Répétition » in french) by highlighting the meta-dramatical dimension of his plays, and finally the psychoanalytical aspect with its link to the death urge and to the subjective idendity loss where there is no place for the « I » . This research highlights the stakes coming out from this repetitive dramaturgic apparatus and clear the speech on the world coming from it.
