- Abstract
- Companies are increasingly concerned by cyber threats. Their IT security systems have to comply with specific requirements from regulators and are more and more targeted by hackers. The financial consequences of cyberattacks might be difficult to determine precisely. This work aims to understand the challenges and the technologies to determine the different costs induced. An understanding of the insurance sector in France will be led through a study of the literature and a field study. It will allow us to define the different costs induced by a cyberattack for an insurance company in France and offer solutions to estimate more precisely these costs which are sometimes quite difficult to assess.
