Abstract
Repetition compulsion in the life of Anaïs Nin between 1931 and 1932, takes a look at the period in Nin's life when she met Henry and June Miller and started her psychanalysis with Réne Allendy. Anaïs was a victime of sexual abuse as a child and experienced intense abandonment anxiety due to her father leaving the family when she was 11-years-old. This dissertation makes the clame that Nin's repetition compulsion pattern was relatively calm untill her revictimization by Allendy's therapy methods and by the Miller couple.
