- Abstract
- The purpose of this thesis is to introduce an impact assessment tool, the Business School Impact System. Created by the EFMD and the FNEGE, the BSIS aims at evaluating the various impacts that a business school generates on its environment. The report overviews the history of management education, the role of the business schools and their main challenges in our society. The focal point of the analysis lies in the notion of impact of an organization. This thesis answers to the questions regarding the awareness and assessment of impact and its communication to the various stakeholders. In the second part of this paper, an analysis on the impact assessment of the IMD Business School is conducted. The results of this analysis highlight an evaluation of impacts expected and unintended and a creation of impacts resulting from the strategic, communication dimension of the BSIS tool.
