Abstract
The financial industry is in a transitional period where sustainable investments are sometimes considered as a trend and sometimes a necessity. The research highlights the role of the financial actors and the challenges they will encounter and analyse the consistency of the sustainable investing policies of five Luxemburgish management companies with their portfolio investing choices. The paper provides an answer to the question of whether financial actors have an opportunistic motivation or want a concrete change regarding their investing process.
