Abstract
This dissertation develops a critical analysis of the modal choices of Latin American migrant women living and working in Brussels. This research project aims to understand their preferences in terms of modes of transport, both for their daily journeys and for leisure-related travel. A key aspect of this research is the in-depth examination of the interaction between gender and women's decision-making in terms of mobility. Indeed, this study aims to examine how their own experiences and perceptions of the city shape their travel choices. The study also assessed how women prioritise certain transport options over others, taking into account the gender-related factors likely to influence their decisions. The study is based on 5 semi-structured interviews.
