The purpose of this study is to explore contemporary research and create a map for possible future research. A systematic literature review was conducted to investigate the research question. The literature for this review was collected by using the Scopus and Web of Science databases. A total of 53 peer-reviewed articles were analyzed based on the work of Low and MacMillan (1988). The studies were collected in an analysis grid based on the six specifications of Low and MacMillan (1988). To achieve the purpose of the study, a comprehensive descriptive analysis was conducted and the specific concept of Uncertainty was examined with a view to define future research. The findings of the study are twofold: Firstly, they relate to general observations on the descriptive analysis and include recommendations for future research on LSM, secondly, the findings include recommendations about how LSM – linked to uncertainty – should be understood in the future. Regarding this link, further theoretical development is suggested. p, Uncertainty, Experimentation;Lean StartupLean Startup MethodologySystematic Literature ReviewUncertaintyLean Startup Methodology: A Reflection on Contemporary Research and Future Prospectiontext::thesis::master thesisthesis:36214
