This work is divided into three main sections: an introduction that discusses the legislation that regulates this practice in the different countries of the European Union; a translation of the book "Gestación subrogada: capitalismo, patriarcado y poder" by Layla Martínez, which discusses surrogacy from different angles; and finally, a commentary that explains the translation problems encountered and how they were resolved.
