First, a presentation on eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, other specified feeding or eating disorders and unspecified feeding or eating disorders is proposed. This presentation includes the diagnostic criteria, prevalence, comorbidities, medical complications and treatments of each disorder. The translation section then includes three chapters of the book “Treatment of Eating Disorders: A Clinical Handbook” edited by C. Grilo and J. Mitchell in 2010. The three translated chapters focus on anorexia nervosa. The disease is presented from a medical point of view in the first chapter, the medical complications of the disease are detailed in the second one, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat anorexia nervosa is discussed in the third one. Finally, the comments focus on the translator’s methodology, the difficulties specific to medical translation, more technical concepts such as electrocardiograms and clinical trials, and isolated difficulties encountered while translating for this thesis.eating disordersanorexia nervosabulimia nervosabinge-eating disordercognitive-behavioral therapyOSFEDUFEDLe traitement des troubles de l'alimentation - Manuel cliniquetext::thesis::master thesisthesis:29576
