Different approaches have been followed by many exegetes in proffering a solution to this enigmatic phenomenon. These approaches stretch from historical to literary solutions, but unfortunately many of these solutions failed to understand the text within its literary environment. The narrative approach which we have taken in this work is an attempt to understand Acts within its literary environment.
