- Abstract
- With the increase of use of Internet Voting, it is important to make sure that the system is secure. One of the system used is the Swiss Post system. Swiss authorities estimate that the use of electronic voting which has been experimented for more than 15 years allows to reduce cost and increase the voter turnout. (Killer, 2019) This thesis provides an overview of the public key infrastructure of the Swiss Post system, and makes a security analysis on the public key infrastructure aspect (PKI). This thesis concludes that there are vulnerabilities in the PKI of the Swiss Post system. The system is compliant against the NIST norms but does not meet the FIPS2 criteria
