Abstract

This thesis will be devoted to reshoring and the different elements that surround it. Indeed, more and more companies feel concerned by their environmental and societal responsibilities. From then on, these companies ask themselves questions about their structure, their way of working, their geographical location and the differences in consequences that result from it. We will therefore study, through this thesis, which factors play a role in the decision process relative to the location of their production lines. This subject is also in line with the crisis periods we are currently going through. Indeed, Covid-19 has shown us our dependence on emerging countries, particularly China. This dependence weakens our production chains in a very important way, which pushes companies to limit their exposure to this type of risk and to the geo-political instability present in these regions.
