- Abstract
- This master thesis aims at studying the extensional viscoelastic properties of a thermoplastic elastomer, more precisely a semicrystalline segmented copolymer with monodisperse amide segments. The copolymer is composed of soft and hard blocks. The soft blocks are made of polytetrahydrofuran (PTHF) and the hard blocks are made of 1,4-butylene therepthalamide (T4T). The influence of the hard segments content (0-20% wt) is investigated, as well as the influence of temperature (20, 50 and a temperature close to melting temperature of the sample).
