Abstract
Net zero transitions are one of the important private initiatives in the world of finance and banking. On the other hand, the EU Taxonomy is one of the most ambitious environmental regulation put in place by the European Union, the public sector, to shift capital flows to more sustainable activities. In this thesis, we identify the challenges of net zero banking and describe how the EU Taxonomy could be leveraged to support and accelerate these transitions.
