Abstract
In a world where technology never ceases to evolve at an ever faster pace, men have to incessantly adapt themselves in order to not be outdated. Nowadays, using only one monitor to perform our daily activities and/or daily work is no longer enough to carry out everything in appropriate time or in a quicker way. People have a tendency to head to the multiple screens systems so as to improve their task performance. Therefore a Belgian company saw a great opportunity to develop a new product in the context of the multiple displays: Slide’n’joy. A revolutionary electronic accessory directly tied at the back of the laptop screen allowing to broaden the visual field of the user by doubling or tripling their screen which is now able to carry out a rotation up to 180 degrees. This thesis aims ultimately to convince the most sceptical single laptop users who do not want to upgrade to a multiple displays environment as well as the most effective configurations to take over in this context.
