Abstract
In today's rapidly evolving world, the digital nomad lifestyle has emerged as a captivating alternative to the traditional 9-to-5 grind. It offers individuals the freedom to work remotely while traversing diverse landscapes, immersing themselves in new cultures, and embracing a sense of adventure. Yet, behind the allure of this lifestyle lie unique challenges that digital nomads must confront, such as loneliness and the fear of missing out (FOMO). In this thesis, we embark on a journey to unravel the reasons behind digital nomads' decisions to leave this nomadic path, while deeping into the significance of loneliness and FOMO in shaping their experiences.
