- Abstract
- This dissertation entitled "Drinking and Eating in the Middle Ages through the Narrative Sources of the Belgian Space (ca. 1200-1500)" aims to understand to what extent the chroniclers of the time could perceive food. This work is structured around several chapters, each of which deals with a conception of food that is specific to the Middle Ages. The narrative sources constituting our primary source, it was unthinkable not to address the way in which these chroniclers could use food and the food models which result from it in order to serve their narrative.
