- Abstract
- This master thesis is about structures made from droxels. First, the geometry is explained. Then, a method for the manufacturing of the concrete blocs is shown, together with the different concrete compositions that are used in this work. Then, there is the most important part of the thesis; the development of a numerical tool that would make the computation of those structures possible. We tried to compute the global stability as well as the risk of a rupture inside the concrete blocs with the software LMGC90, developed by the university of Montpellier. The results of those numerical computations have been compared with laboratory tests on concrete micro-structures and then analysed with a critical eye. The last chapter shows some possible applications and a case with the design calculations.
