Abstract
This research consists of a case study on the members of Solifin (a network of sustainable financial actors active in the Belgian impact economy) and matchmaking sessions entrepreneurs. It aims to explore the organizational form and institutional framework that enables sustainable financial actors to have a broader impact on the social economy and its sustainable transition. Also, it seeks to establish possible links and existing patterns between how social entrepreneurs present themselves in terms of social and financial performance and the impact investors. The results show that we can distinguish some patterns between their performances and the investors' choice to fund them or not. Throughout its networked organization, Solifin can meet the challenges of creating the environment and assembling best practices to promote collaboration and nudge the entrepreneurs and investors in the right direction.
