Abstract
Blockchain and Artificial intelligence are two disruptive technologies. Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and other types of intelligence are being developed over time. However, artificial intelligence faces some issues which prevent the total development of the technology. Indeed, discrimination, biases, trust, governance and other challenges prevent the trust from the end users. The healthcare sector is not an exception and patients, doctors as well as other end users do not trust a diagnosis or other decisions coming from a machine. In addition, medical data are not safe today. An hospital can be hacked easily and all the patient’s data can disapeared. On the other side, blockchain, the decentralized technology increase trust and remove the third-party. The decision as well as information are confirmed by different nodes, different stakeholders. Therefore, it appeared that blockchain helping AI is partially confirmed. As it can help with trust in a certain extend as well as biases. It seems that blockchain can not really help regarding liability and explainability. However, it depends on every use cases which have to be well thought and adapted for blockchain and AI.
