Abstract
The objective of this thesis is to develop an innovative tool that enhances collaboration in the field of reverse engineering research using Ghidra. Reverse engineering is a complex domain that heavily relies on researchers working together. However, the current version of Ghidra lacks the necessary features to support such collaboration. To bridge this gap, this thesis proposes the integration of a new feature called OpenReversa. By extending Ghidra's built-in Function ID functionality, OpenReversa enables reverse engineers to collaborate seamlessly within the application through a shared database system. This innovative approach to collaboration in reverse engineering opens up new possibilities for research advancements and practical applications. Not only does OpenReversa facilitate collaboration, but it also promotes efficiency and productivity in projects conducted with Ghidra.
