Abstract
enThis thesis is devoted to the study of the ideal class group of quadratic fields. It mainly focuses on imaginary quadratic fields. Several approaches are developed, the first using the theory of ideals and Minkowski's theorem, the second using quadratic forms. The first chapters are more theoretical and the last consists in putting into practice the concepts studied on concrete examples.
