Abstract
A look at an experience in teaching theatrical practices in secondary schools. How to deal with pedagogical issues? The purpose of this work is to examine an experience in teaching theatrical practices in secondary schools, with a focus on the following research question : How can we meet the pedagogical challenges ? Teaching theatrical practices as envisaged in the French Community's school curricula confronts teachers with a variety of pedagogical challenges. To answer our question, we have highlighted various pedagogical challenges and strategies applied during a teaching experience in two institutions in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. We compared the pedagogical approaches with those proposed by theorists. This work also highlights the educational benefits of theatrical practices in the school setting.
