Abstract
This thesis discusses the impact of mergers and acquisitions on corporate performance. It is measured through financial performance, and more particularly through financial ratios. With a focus on the International Niche Market Leaders, the study reveals, on the one hand, the motives for acquiring such a company, and on the other hand, the significance of the M&A impact on their performance.
