- Abstract
- The aim of this thesis is the virtual simulation of a prostate biopsy robot developed by SNRLAB for animal studies. The development of this work employs technologies such as ROS, RVIZ, MoveIt, and Gazebo. These tools digitally recreate the robot, the prostate and surrounding anatomical components based on one patient’s data. The virtual simulation is then used for optimal virtual path planning, to reach the target avoiding organs at risk.
