Abstract
Ce mémoire est un sous-titrage commenté de deux documentaires, Into the Abyss: Chemosynthetic Oases et Deep Sea Gigantism: Why the Ocean Breeds Giants. Le premier documentaire explore le mécanisme de chimiosynthèse et les écosystèmes chimiosynthétiques, tandis que le deuxième se penche sur le gigantisme abyssal et les étranges créatures qui peuplent les océans. This thesis is an annotated subtitling of two documentaries, Into the Abyss: Chemosynthetic Oases and Deep Sea Gigantism: Why the Ocean Breeds Giants. The first documentary explores the process of chemosynthesis and chemosynthetic ecosystems, while the second one looks at deep-sea gigantism and the strange creatures that inhabit the oceans.
