- Abstract
- Live streaming platforms are beginning to play an increasingly important role in the audiovisual sector, this work was a good opportunity to make an economic analysis of it. In this work, I have analyzed the literature on the complexity of network goods to understand how they differ from normal goods, with a focus on the demand to join these platforms, the launching strategies and on the pricing structure. Finally, I have compared this literature with practice, by analyzing how live streaming platforms have developed, what their remuneration strategies are and an analysis of the state of competition between these platforms.
