Abstract
This thesis consists of writing a Request for Proposal for the Royal Belgian Football Association, which wants to acquire a data management tool. To accomplish this task, the thesis is divided into three parts. First, a literature review is carried out. It looks at the best practices used in requirements specification, in order to ensure a well- founded working methodology. It also describes the data concepts needed to understand the project. Secondly, the project is put into practice by drafting the RFP according to the methods described above. Finally, the recommendations and limitations encourage the RBFA to pursue its procurement initiative and highlight the importance of adequate resources in such a project, emphasizing the importance of using the right people, adapting the best methods to the context, and allowing enough time to complete all the steps.
