Abstract
enThis paper consists of a commented subtitling of the BBC documentary "Drowning in Plastic". It consists of three main parts: an introduction to the issue of plastic pollution in our oceans, which will discuss the causes of this problem and its consequences on marine life as well as some food for thought on possible solutions, followed by the subtitling of the documentary itself, and finally, comments justifying the translation choices that were made.
