- Abstract
- During the last decades, the level of evidence in the TMD field has tremendously improved, leading to a gap between science and practice. The aim of this thesis is to end up with an approved questionnaire in English which will assess current knowledge, beliefs and attitudes of health practitioners regarding TMD, in order to objectivate and remedy to this existing gap. The last questionnaire created about TMD dates from 1993, an update of the data’s is thus necessary. The following steps were completed: gathering information from experts and literature, research about methodology of questionnaire’s creation, chose of the answer format, and actual creation of the questionnaire. The contribution of 5 international experts in the field guided the evolution of the project. The 44 items’ questionnaire obtained will be submitted to the experts who will conduct a Delphi process. This step will lead to a final 25 questions questionnaire, that must be validated and tested in the future.
