Abstract
This master’s thesis is linked to a final year internship at Port Cities Indonesia, an IT consulting firm based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It specialises in the implementation of Odoo, a Belgian open-source software. The main objective was to analyse, assess and recommend the company’s current agile project management. The theoretical aspect covers project management, IT systems such as ERPs, and both structured and agile methodologies. On the practical side, we conducted an in-depth analysis and evaluation of the methods employed at Port Cities Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach, involving interviews, the company’s documentary resources and insight gained during my internship, we discovered that the company is experiencing issues at several levels. We decided to focus on the following issues: document management and the under-utilisation of Odoo's functionalities. By evaluating current methods, we were able to identify the company's issues and needs. We then developed customised functional and strategic recommendations to meet Port Cities Indonesia's needs.
