Abstract
Today, as China is facing critical economic, political, environmental and social issues, the country has to shift its strategy towards achieving a lower yet more sustainable growth in the long run driven by innovation. As the Chinese government will have to play a significant role to stimulate innovation through the release of industrial policies, the purpose of the thesis is thus to study China’s innovation policy in terms of technology development.
