Abstract
Since the advent of the ebook (variously electronic book, ebook, digital book), it is possible to procure dematerialised books to read with a dedicated ebook reader, a smartphone, a tablet or a computer. Although the appellation “book” remains, the related rights differ. This will be the central issue on which we will focus along these lines: what is the impact of the advent of the digital era in literary matters – focusing on the carrier?
