- Abstract
- The project was proposed by the Centre National de Rééducation Fonctionnelle et de Réadaptation Rehazenter from Luxembourg and the purpose was to developp a robotic orthosis for the hip. It all started from scratch in 2016 and several students have succeeded year after year and improved the prototype. Now, it is fully functional and motorised, yet with room for improvements. The development of such a project is motivated by the need to assist people suffering from damage to the central nervous system. It is part of the research area called: "rehabilitation robotics".
