- Is it possible to cultivate the pleasure of reading and literature in higher level French classes? This is the question this Master’s thesis to answer. Initially, the themes of this question are developed according to the research of teacher trainers and activities to combine the pleasure of reading and literature are exposed. Secondly, the results of a survey of teachers and their students are presented. These cross-views allow us to conclude that teachers are very creative and put in place many stratagems to encourage their students to read. On the other hand, learners are aware of the importance of reading and literature in their education and this perception increases with maturity.
