Abstract
The activity of electricity distribution is a sector where companies can take different forms of organization.These firms differ according to the managerial structure that manages them. Based on a database of 152 companies active in Sweden, this thesis will focus on the cost-efficiency that these firms can have according to their ownership structure, using a DEA benchmarking tool.
