Abstract
This work is included in the large subject of energy performance of builings. The case presented here is about Besix’s building renovation, in Brussels. The main goal is to know how it is possible to make this building passive. Improvements to the thermal model are suggested trough the management of artificial lightning depending of the daylight supply. Daylight simulations are detailed in this paper. All computations are dynamic, which allows to integrate results into the dynamic thermal model. Results show the influence of the heat gain due to artificial lightning on the thermal model. Propositions about a change of the lightning system are made and different types of lightning management are compared
